1. What this page is — and is not
This Legal Notice explains the rules that apply when you use lookingforclan.app and the LFC app (together, the “Platform”), operated by Very Unreal, LLC (“Very Unreal,” “we,” “us”). It is for user awareness and operator transparency. It is not a gaming license, not a legal opinion, and not a promise that every feature is lawful in every city, county, or state. This page works together with our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. If those documents conflict with this Notice on a gambling, eligibility, prize, Clan Bucks, or cash-out issue, this Notice controls until we update the Terms.
2. Who we are and what the Platform is
Legal entity: Very Unreal, LLC Product names: Looking For Clan, LFC, LFC app Website: lookingforclan.app Legal contact: legal@lookingforclan.app Looking For Clan is a community platform for finding, joining, promoting, and managing gaming clans, plus optional adult competitive features: Wager Matches, Clan Battles, Clan Bucks, and My Clan Bank Account. Unless this page displays a state gaming license number, Very Unreal, LLC is not: • a licensed Kentucky sportsbook or sports-wagering service provider; • a licensed fantasy-contest operator under Kentucky House Bill 904 / KRS Chapter 230; • a casino, lottery, or historical horse racing operator; or • an offer to take the other side of a bet on someone else’s match.
3. Clan Bucks and My Clan Bank Account
Clan Bucks are a real-money wallet unit. They are not toy points. • 10,000 Clan Bucks = $1.00 USD. • Cash-out is allowed only in increments of 10,000 Clan Bucks ($1.00) or whole multiples of 10,000. • Personal wallets and clan treasuries both display Clan Bucks and the USD equivalent at all times. • Match stakes move into escrow when both sides lock. Those funds cannot be cashed out until the match is paid or refunded and any hold period ends. • My Clan Bank Account is the clan treasury. Clan Battle wagers may be funded from the Clan Bank, from starters’ personal wallets, or a disclosed split. • Very Unreal, LLC may hold, review, delay, or refuse a cash-out to prevent fraud, underage use, collusion, chargebacks, or unlawful play.
4. Eligibility
Age You must be at least 18 to create an account or use community features. You must be at least 21 to enter Wager Matches or Clan Battles, deposit, or cash out Clan Bucks. Very Unreal, LLC may require government ID and may close accounts that fail verification. Location You are responsible for knowing whether your use of the Platform is legal where you are physically located. Very Unreal, LLC may geo-restrict or refuse service. Using a VPN, proxy, or false location data to evade a restriction violates the Terms and may result in forfeiture of balances, entries, or prizes.
5. Kentucky users — important summary
This is a plain-language summary, not a complete statement of Kentucky law. Community use Finding a clan, chatting, boosting a listing, or reading news is not gambling under Kentucky law. Betting on esports matches Wagering on professional or competitive video-game events is treated in Kentucky as sports wagering. As of 2026 that activity is legal only through operators licensed by the Kentucky Horse Racing and Gaming Corporation, for patrons who are 21 or older and physically located in Kentucky. Very Unreal, LLC and the LFC app do not accept sports wagers unless and until this page is updated with a KHRGC license disclosure and a licensed partner or operator name. Players competing against each other for prizes Kentucky law (KRS 528.010) carves certain “e-sports competitions” out of the criminal definition of gambling when two or more participants compete directly in the same video game at the same time, results are determined solely by skill, the field is fixed in advance, all fees are collected before play, at least one participant receives something of value based on results, and the prize value is predetermined. Traditional casino games are excluded. If Very Unreal, LLC offers paid player-versus-player events on lookingforclan.app, those events are intended to follow that framework. If an event cannot meet those conditions, it will not be offered as an unlicensed contest in Kentucky. Not allowed on the Platform • Real-money casino games, slots, or online poker. • Bets on high-school, youth, or predominantly under-18 events. • Unlicensed house-banked wagering on match outcomes. • Skins, item, or account wagering.
6. Wager Matches and Clan Battles
These are player-versus-player or clan-versus-clan skill events. Very Unreal, LLC does not take the other side of the wager. A disclosed platform fee / rake may be taken from the combined escrow and will be shown before anyone clicks Lock Stake.
